What teams need in 07'

Atlanta Falcons:

CB - DeAngelo Halls needs another talented CB opposite of him. Jimmy Williams was trying there this year but safety is his natural position.

DT - Grady Jackson keeps getting older and has been injury prone in the past. Another big run stopper definetly wound't hurt to have.

QB - Matt Schaub will be an unrestricted free agent after next season. The Falcons will need to deicide wether Vick or Schaub will be the QB down the stretch. They could also deal Schaub this offseason leaving the Falcons with no true pocket passing QB.

Carolina Panthers:

LB - Losing Dan Morgan for the year really hurt the Panthers defense. Chris Draft filled in fine but they need insurance in case Morgan's career is over.

FS - Mike Minter's cap number is very high and there's a good chance he will be cut in the offseason. Shaun Williams has also been injury prone throughout his career so depth is really needed here.

WR - Keary Colbert is reportedly not going to be back next season while Keyshawn Johnson is comtemplating retirement. They need another guy to take the pressure off Steve Smith.

New Orleans Saints:

CB - The Saints have struggled all season getting INTs. Their CBs are also a bit on the slow side. An upgrade is needed if the Saints are to compete again next year.

LB - The plan was to take A.J. Hawk 2nd overall last year, but then Reggie Bush fell into their laps. Once again the Saints will likely look to fill the holes at LB this year.

DT/DE - Hollis Thomas enjoyed a rebirth in New Orleans and Brian Young still gets the job done, but they could use a pass rusher if they lose Charles Grant in free agency.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

QB - Is Chris Simms the answer? Well he had his chance this year and ended up missing the majority of the season. Simms looked horrible in those 3 games so QB should be the top priority.

DE - Simeon Rice is expected to be released and the Bucceneers will need someone to fill his void. Their defense is aging so will need to beging replacing the parts.

WR - Joey Galloway still has enough to get the job done but he is on the tail end of his career. Michael Clayton has fallen off the face of the planet after his excellent rookie season. Aside from Galloway, they have no speed at the WR position.
